How to start
Members can start navigating for data available on the site thru any of the following three different stages: By clicking (in case of access by IP Login) or putting your log-in details (in case of access by username and password) – at home page, By navigating the site – thru the section “Statistical Information” available on the left panel on its home page, and By searching the data on site – thru the “Search” box given on its home page.

Where to Login
It is advisable to start navigating the site by first log-in as suggested below: If you have been assigned access thru username and password, please put the said details in the boxes shown prominently on the top tool bar on our home page, as shown below:

If you have been assigned access thru IP access, you just require to click at “IP Login”, shown along side the username and password boxes on the top tool bar on our home page, as shown below:

Navigating for Data
Whether you are logged in or not, click the requisite Data category, under “StatisticalInformation” shown on the left panel. You get on your screen the alphabetical list of its sub-categories. Clicking a sub-category will lead you to a further sub-category or to the list of data table headings pertaining to the sub-category clicked. The page showing data table heading shows you data at India level or State-wise consolidated data. If individual state level data is available under the selected category, you would find a dropbox displaying the names of the states for which the data is available. Select the StateName from the drop box provided on the page, it would further take you to the data tablelisting page under the said heading. Click the table heading to view the data table that will be shown in a separate window. In case you have not logged in, the following window would appear asking you to log in – thru home page.

Once the data table is displayed, you may download the data table in MS-Excel, MS-Word or HTML format and/or print the table, subject to the rights assigned with your access.

Searching the data available on site
You can also search the data available on site thru the “Search” box shown prominently below the top tool bar.

The data available, relating to the keyword or phrase submitted by you would appear as search result in the form of a list of data table headings. You may click any table heading to view the data by following the instruction given in Para ‘Navigating for Data’ above.

Time-out Period
Time-out period of browser is 20 minutes. Thereafter, re-log in would be required.
